SSC Syllabus Tier 1

Now let’s have a discussion over SSC Syllabus for the categories of questions which will be asked in the exam of SSC CGL. There will be four sections as mentioned below:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English

There will 25 questions asked from each section and all these questions will carry 50 marks. Hence in total there will be 100 questions which will carry 200 marks. Aspirant has to solve all these 100 questions in 1 Hour that is 60 minutes. Handicapped students will get 80 minutes to solve those 100 questions.

  • There will be negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.

  • There are various posts in SSC-CGL and Paper-I and Paper-II are mandatory for all posts as mentioned above
  • Paper-III will be organized for those who have applied for junior statistical office or who cleared Tier-I for this post.
  • Paper-IV will be organized for those who have cleared Tier-1 which means for the post of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer.
  • The negative marking will also be there, that is 0.25 marks for each wrong answers in Paper-II and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper-III and Paper-IV
  • Questions in Paper-I will be of Matriculation Level, Paper-II of 10+2 Level and in Paper-III and Paper-IV of Graduation Level.
  • For handicapped people, the duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 40 minutes

Here come the detailed guidelines for Tier 3 of the SSC Exam

As mentioned with the start of the article, this Tier of the exam will be organized in offline mode hence you must have ball point pen along with you in the examination hall. The exam will be focused on Literature and proficiency over writing will be get analyzed. The skills of grammar, spelling, vocabulary, words usage etc will get tested in both the languages that is English and Hindi. The exam will get scheduled as mentioned below:

SSC CGL Tier-IV:
