Today we are living our lives as a king and as per the constitution of India all citizens have given rights to live their life as per their convenience. But this condition was not from always. Even imagination of getting ruled seems like the worst thing of life. We all have to be thankful to all freedom fighters of India who has sacrificed their lives to make India free. Every year the nation celebrates Independence Day & Republic Day, and we got these opportunities due to those brave hearts only. Lots of cultural programs get organized by the various firms in order to pay tribute to all the brave hearts.
They do not only deserve to get remembered on any specific days but also we should pay gratitude to them and be thankful at all the moments of our lives because this freedom era of India is gifted to us from our ancestor who fought for the nation. We have freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of life etc and it is all because of those super heroes. So lets take a pledge to give them a special place in hearts and memorize them always. They should not be limited to the books only, but their thoughts should flow in our bloods as well and only after that we will be able to take their vision forward.
Now Let’s Know About the Stories of Some of the Real Heroes
Initially, Mughals kept India as slaves and the fur-Englishmen did so. In this way, India spent nearly 200 years in slavery. It was the time period of 1757 to 1947. A Mughal period was started by Babar who came to rule India and lots of our fighters had lost their lives in order to save the motherland. They had looted the whole nation and ruled us. Warriors like Rani Lakshmibai, Shivaji, and Rana Pratap etc were there who had made things difficult for them. Post that, East India Company ruled from 1857 after finishing the kingdoms of Mughals. They had started to divide and rule methods. Lots of freedom fighters like Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh, Azad, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatam Gandhi, Shubhash Chandra Bose, Sarojani Naidu and Abul Kalam etc… were lost their lives so that their nation would stay happy and secure.
It is really matter of pride for all of us where we have taken birth, at the same land; India has given birth to lots of fighters who had lost their lives for its freedom. After continuously fighting with all the attackers finally on 15th August 1947, India became an Independent country. This is the reason we celebrate this great day in the memory of our freedom fighters and we all need to learn the feeling of patriotism from them.
None of us are unaware of the present era, and the way things are happening with our neighboring country so we need to have that courage as our ancestors had. A great tribute and salute to all the freedom fighters of India.
Here we are putting lights on some of the great fighters by mentioning their efforts and the tribute which was paid by them for the mother India. They had not only sacrificed their lives but also enlightened the nation with their service. Their deeds cannot be mentioned in words but we try to respect them by maintaining the decorum of their sacrifices.
Maharana Pratap was the kind of Mewar and fought with Akbar who was a Mughal Emperor. In 1568 he had fought Battle of Haldighati against Mughals. In 1572 he was crowned as Rana. We have read lots of his stories of bravery in history. His ruled state is currently located in Rajasthan.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was one the Indian Warrior who had fought against the ruler of India. He was the founder of the Maratha Empire and crowned as Chhatrapati in 1674. He has sacrificed his life during the fight with Mughals and since childhood, he was very wise and brave. His mother was his guru in the initial days of his life.
Khoob Ladi Mardani Wo Jhansi Wali Rani Thi
Line of Subhadra Kumar Chauhan which was clearly written as a tribute to Queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmibai. She has fought against Mughals in the year 1857 and sacrificed her life during the war. She is really an Icon for the nation and recently a film was made by Bollywood which inspires all of us
Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the nation and was a leader of the Indian Independence Movement. He had run lots of movements against Britishers like “Satyagrah” “Quit India” etc. Lovingingly he is called as “Bapu“. He has initialized the movements for the rights of humans and freedom of the nation.
Mangal Pandey is known as the courageous soldier who has sacrificed their lives for the freedom of India. He had attacked British officers on 29th March 1857 and he has fought with attackers in First war of Independence. Since childhood, he was very courageous and brave.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad
Dr. Rajendra Prasad became the first president of India after Independence. He has played a prominent role in the Indian Nationalist Movement. He has left his profession of Professorship in order to make his motherland free.
Sardar Vallabhai Patel
Sardar Vallabhai Patel was a lawyer initially and also an active politician. He has a huge effort in the amalgamation of India. After Independence, he became the first home minister and also known as Man of Iron. Recently the statue of liberty was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on India in Gujrat.
DR. Babasaheb Ambedkar
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar firmly called as Baba Saheb who has worked for the growth of Dalits and fought for their empowerment. He has also played an important role during the fight with Britishers and strongly opposed the divide & rule concept of the Britishers. Famous monuments are made in his memory and every year we celebrate his birthday.
Sarojini Naidu is known as Nightangle if India and was the first governor of independent India who had served from 15th August 1947 to 2nd March 1949. She was a social worker and writer. With her effective writing, she has influenced Indians and passed the message of autonomy. She was also chosen as Legislative leader of Indian National Congress.
Tantia Tope was known with the name Tatya Tope and he has given the title of “Tope” which means commanding officer. He was the great freedom fighter and led the team soldiers to fight against the Englishmen.
Udham Singh has played a viral role in freedom fighting and one of the most prominent rebellions. Lieutenant Governor of Punjab was assassinated by him and that is why he got imprisonment. His sacrifice had inspired lots of youths.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak

is given by Bal Gangadhar Tilak. He was the first leader of the Indian Independence movement and a well known social worker and a dedicated patriot.
Sukhdev Thapar is the brave fighter who had lost his life for the freedom of India. He had shown his significance during the Lahore Conspiracy Case which was held on 18th December 1928. He was courageous since childhood.
One of the most prominent leaders of “Home Rule League” and she was the supporter of Irish and Indian self-rule. She was the brave freedom fighter. He was the only outsider who has served for the betterment of India.
Dadabhai Naroji is known as the Grand Old Man of India. He was a famous public figure and first Indian professor at the Elphinstone Institute. He is the most prominent leaders of the Independence Movement, who has lost his life for the freedom of India.
Ram Prasad Bismil
Ram Prasad Bismil is one of the most promising leaders of Hindustan Republican Association who fought against attackers and lost his life for the sake of freedom. He was given the sentence to death by the British government due to participation in Kakori case.
Ram Manohar Lohia
Congress Socialist Party is founded by Ram Manohar Lohia and an active leader during the Indian Independence Movement. One of the main members of Quit India Movement and during this movement he got tortured by Britishers in 1944.
Subhash Chandra Bose
One of the heroes and had brought a new revolution during the ruling period of British. He was very well known saying is:

He was titled with “Netaji“. His inspirations and guidance are still in history. A grand salute to all his tributes for the nation. Still where he is? This answer is still awaited but we hope and pray for his best.
Every youth follows Bhagat Singh still follows Bhagat Singh and the way he has lived his life also sacrificed life, has made all of us very proud. We all have to thankful for his dedication. He was considered as the influential revolutionaries during the fight with Britishers. He was the only leader who has given the title of “Shaheed” which means a Martyr. In Bollywood lots of movies are made in order to reflect the personality of this brave heart. Grand salute to him.
Chandrashekhar Azad was well remembered because of his name “Azad” and he always wanted to live his life freely. He was the founder of Hindustan Republic Association which was reformed under the name of Hindustan Socialist Republican. During the fight with Englishmen, he had shot himself by his own pistol and defined himself as “Azad” who cannot be ruled by anyone.

K. M. Munshi
K.M. Munshi is a great freedome fighter and has put all his efforts in Movements like Salt Satyagraha and Quit India along with Mahatma Gandhi. He has sacrificed his life for the freedom of India.
Sri Satguru Ram Singh
Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji also called as Kaku. He was the first Indian to use non-cooperation movers and fought with Britishers with great Bravery. He was also known as the founder of Namdhari Sikhism.
These are the only few roses from the whole garden. Lots of hidden names are there who had supported the independence movement and get tortured by the rulers. Perhaps their names are lost in history but we have deep respect for all those freedom fighters as well. We can imagine the pain of ruling world and in spite of all the tortures of 200 years, India became independent, this is a really a matter of proud for all of us.
We all are aware of the current scenario and we all need to fight against terrorism as one. Terrorism is the curse for any nation and it does not allow any kind of growth for the nation and always spread miss leading messages in the society on the name caste and religion. Hence by taking inspirations from all our ancestors, we should boycott these cursing things of the nation. From each and every individual of India, we pay the highest tribute to all the warriors and freedom fighters of India. We are proud to be an India. We all should work hard in our life so that once again we could be able to build the golden India which was initially called as:
